Meet Our Founder
Henry Dom
A Lifelong Carer, Clinician, and Courageous Educator
Our founder, Henry Dom brings a rare depth of experience to every training session. We were founded in 2024, but our roots go much deeper. Our lead trainer, Henry Dom, brings over 15 years of frontline experience with the London Ambulance Service, alongside a lifelong journey in healthcare that began in 1985. A South African political refugee turned NHS hero, Henry has cared for people in care homes, hospitals, hospices, and ambulances – and he now pours that experience into every course we offer.
From receiving the Shell 999 Bravery Award to training teams at Buckingham Palace, Parliament, and frontline government departments, Henry’s commitment to care is what makes our training so unique.
A Life of Service and Recognition
Henry’s bravery and dedication have not gone unnoticed. He is the proud recipient of:
- Shell 999 Bravery Award (for saving a young woman’s life)
- NHS George Cross Medal
- The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal
- The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Medal for Outstanding Service
Today, alongside running Lifesaving-training.com, Henry continues to serve as a Mental Health First Aider, a bereavement counsellor, and an NHS Hindu chaplain.
What We Offer
We specialise in:
- Accredited Courses (like FPOSi, First Aid at Work).
- Refresher & Requalification Courses.
- Bespoke and Certificated Workshops.

We don’t just teach – we understand. Our courses are born from real emergencies, lived experiences, and the deep empathy needed in crisis. Because in the toughest moments, skills matter, but humanity matters more.
- Real frontline experience – not just theory.
- Human-first approach – we train with empathy, not ego.
- Customisable courses – built around your needs.
- Trusted by institutions – from charities to public service organisations.
- Client & student-centred learning – every voice matters in our classroom.

Our mission
Our mission is to empower every student to excel in recognising and responding to the holistic needs of others. We commit to transforming emergency and non-emergency care through innovative, anecdotal training and evidence-based education that cultivates both technical proficiency and compassionate decision-making. By embracing continuous improvement and rigorous standards, we prepare our trainees to respond to critical and non-critical situations with agility, resilience, and unwavering care, ensuring that every individual in need is met with expertise, excellence, empathy and compassion when it matters most.
Our Team
We have a pool of highly trained and experienced tutors drawn from the Emergency Services.
